Hello and welcome to my ReefCam page!
This is a 180 gallon (683 liter) aquarium measuring 6 x 2 x 2 feet (1.83 x 0.61 x 0.61 meters).
The webcam is operational most of the time, however I do from occasion take it down while performing major tank mainenance, as it is a bit in the way. There is a limit of 10 simultaneous viewers at once, so if you don't see an image below, it's most likely because the number of viewers has exceeded the allowance. Please be patient and try to refresh in a few minutes.
Please note that if you are viewing the camera at night, the frames per second drop significantly, since the camera is set to optimize for quality, which results in longer exposure time.

The aquarium is operated by a ReefKeeper Elite controller. The lights are automated to simulate daylight. At 7 am EST 4 actinic lights turn on in the back. At 8 am 4 actinics go on in the front. At 12 pm the first metal halide (far left goes on), the second comes on at 1 pm, and the third at 2pm. They are on for 5 hours a day and begin powering down and 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm in the same order they turned on, simulating the sun passing over the reef. At 10pm and 11pm the actinics go off front first then back and at 11pm the moonlight LEDs come on.
